1. if u flop a strait and 2 or three of the cards on the flop are suited..u will lose 2. if u have 2 pair on the flop and 2 or the 3 cards are open-ended.bet ur ass someone will have a straight and u will lose. 3.guaranteed if u have j,9 or q,9 or 8,10 etc.if u chase u will make a strait 90% of time.4. pocket aces lose 95% of the time especially if the guy who calls is ranked 100-200 places better than u.5. if u have a straight and there are atleast 2 suited cards on the board...and ur opponent keeps calling he will make his flush.and u will lose. 6. NEVER EVER THINK IF U ARE A GOOD PLAYER AT GPOKR U CAN USE THOSE ODDS IN A REAL LIFE GAME!!

3 people think this is a good idea

Superstition. People say these things about every regular game played. I admit i understand how it can appear this way to someone blinded by bad beats and bad play.

MaCGyVer, adjust your game to suit the observations you have made.

BTW, I win with AA most of the time.

I constantly see players limp in with AA, 7 players or so get to see the flop. The AA gets cracked. Now, why could that be ?

You've got to learn how to play your cards. AA will lose often if you play it slow and let the whole table see the flop. This also means it is a more risky hand at the 50/100 tables since down there many more people will go all in with ridiculous hands.

AA played well on a higher table will win most of the times. Not always of course, there's still the factor of luck in poker.

Same goes for the other hands. Two pairs (and trips) are very risky when there are straight or flush possibilities on the board. You have to play these hands accordingly: aggressive when there's a straight/flush draw on the board. But you also have to be prepared to give up your hand when the cards to make that straight or flush do land on the board.
