In Texas Hold'em only five best cards matter; for example if

Kate has 5c 5d
Bob has 4c 4d

And theres A A A A 6 on the table

The pot will be split cause they both have 6 as their kicker.

No because both of you had a King and a Jack as your Kickers.... i cant' see the flop but i take it it went something like 7s,Qd,7c

i understand its split when both players are playing the board.

Flop [7c, 6h, 7h]
Dealing turn: [Kd]
Dealing river: [Tc]
philth shows [8s, 7d] for three sevens with a King & a Jack Kicker!
lmm shows [3c, 4d] for a pair of sevens with a King & a Jack Kicker!
Pache shows [7h, 5s] for three sevens with a King & a Jack Kicker!

The King and Jack are your kicker because they are the highest cards on the board that do not pair.

So if the turn and river were say 2/3 that would make the pot mine?
