Well they have to be named something, and why not after certain players, gives them a little bit of kudos. There are actually 1000 tables in existence, named after the top 1000 players at the end of the month. But only the top 25 players have permanent tables that reamin in the "change table" list even when empty, the others drop off the list until sat at.

Yes its pretty good that the tables are named after certain players but not all of the top 25 players have their own table.I finished 18th bit i havent a table named after me.

It seemed clearer under the old system. When I first got a top 50, I got a table, then cropped up periodically in subsequent medal months, mainly on sitand gos.

My son finished 13th last month and hasn't had a table yet...wants the bragging rights at school.
