I say this with a sad but happy heart.. if that is possible lol. I realize that I am the biggest hypocrite for posting this, but I am going to bid farewell to gpokr... for a long time, quite possibly forever.
I have played with many of u and have enjoyed much of it. If I have been rude to any of u, I truly from the bottom of my heart apologize, but I am a competitive person by nature and sometimes this game brings out the worst in me... A weak and half ago I played for 14 hours, pretty much straight... my life got turned absoultuely upside down after that...and I won't go into detail... but I am not the same person that I was before...
Anyways, now for the only real reason I write this... and I think it's timely
In the end when this life is over... it will not matter how many gpokr medals ( I have two just for the record :) we have or how many "riches" we have acquired in this life... it will not matter what our career was, or if we won a national championship... all that will matter is whether or not we know Jesus and the great unfathomable love that he has for each one of us no matter how unworthy u feel... whether we have made Him Lord of our lives or not... eternity hangs on this question... We all have a desperate need for His saving grace because we are all guilty of sin. We have all, as John writes, fallen very short of God's glory. If u see this need in your life cry out to Him. He will hear u and bring forgiveness, healing and restoration... I can confidently say that His load is easy and his burden is light and the rest He offers is true rest... Matt 11:28. If the burdern u bare is too heavy for u to carry come to the cross where He purchased salvation for u and me and leave it there... u will never regret it :)
