at 9:51 AM, Tuesday August 26, 2008 EDT did you try to analyze the hand? A Q is a good starting hand - in the top 10%. 7 5 suited isn't in the top 30% but with potential for straight or flush, worth seeing the flop.
flop: you have 6 outs for getting a pair, he has 8 outs for getting a straight. Who is better off? turn: you hit one of your 6 outs, you have a pair, 2 outs for getting trips, 3 outs for 2 pair. He has 8 outs for a straight and 9 outs for a flush. Worth a call. river: he hit one of his 17 outs. It was much less likely that you would hit the A than he would get a straight or flush so what are you complaining about? |
