I do not disagree with Jules muting CG, because it has become a distraction.

That being said, CG, calm down and post about poker related items, and all the CG haters, go get a medal....

The suspension of CG's ability to post is a temporary one to allow things to cool down. Recently her posts were getting increasingly abrasive and rude.
For example:

There are a lot of abusive posts on the forums and people have their privileges removed in some instances. In most cases the perpetrators quickly get bored and move on.

Her privileges will be restored soon and I hope this brief cooling off period serves as a reminder that the forums are not a place for the true regulars of this site to berate and abuse others.

Well said merhoops, I fully concur.

Having read the vile abuse that Country Girl initially had to face, I find it utterly staggering that some regulars and "friends" of hers criticized her for defending herself and her beliefs in the face of repulsive adversity.

Ive read the posts whereby a mob of contemptible trouble makers viciously attacked CG with some highly offensive comments. What shocked me almost as much was the reaction of some of the regulars, who decided to take CG to task over it.

I'm not surprised CG lashed out, having had to endure an abhorrent attack only to find that she was being frowned upon for standing up for herself and ultimately being made to feel ostracised by her "friends".

Merhoops got it spot on when stating :
Love her or hate her you have to admit she is who she is and not some phony two face who isn't going to tell you what they truly believe.

And I for one think she was not only justified, but also absolutely correct in her summation. I didn't see many people taking the deplorable attackers to task.....why not? Had it been an attack on any one of you, surely you would have hoped your friends would back you up.


Country Girl is THE reason why I stayed on this site after the first few days I came here and I know for a fact that I am not the only one who feels this way. Many, many, many of the good friends I have on the site are a direct result of Country Girl introducing me to them and creating a fun atmosphere on the tables.

Enough is enough, stop the mob mentality, it's the route of too many of the world's problems and should have no place on this site

And finally did you ever speak to Country Girl and give her fair warning as to the suspension of her posting privileges. Maybe if you had and maybe if you had stopped her abusers earlier things would not have escalated to the point where you treated her unfairly.
