Rigged?? no, just poorly set up

Too many losses on the river, too many high pairs beaten by the next higher pair, too many straights beaten by a flush, too many flushes beaten by a full house, etc...
Ryan, if I had the kind of luck I find on this site I'd have won and lost the lottery several times. I've been playing here for nearly a year and I've rarely seen a table where a high card wins a hand. On the other hand I've seen four aces several times as well as other quads several times. In 52 years of playing poker I've never gotten a Royal Flush....but I got one here. I constantly see people claiming the site is rigged, and I don't agree with them but the odds are definitely unrealistic. The site suffers because of this and it loses members pretty regularly when they get fed up. I think it would be good if you worked to alleviate this issue and the site and the players would be more loyal and supportive. |

at 11:40 AM, Wednesday October 8, 2008 EDT Well first I will say that when i refer to it being rigged thats what i mean: the odds are rigged so u do see more fh vs fh vs flush etc. I disagree with it losing players b/c its not a matter of if u play or not as long as u have an account so when he charges the companies for ads he can say i have x amount of accounts therefore charging more for the accounts. I wish they would put up a warning for new Holdem player that the odds on this site are enhanced and are no where close to "real life" he is misleading new players and giving poker a bad name!!!!!!!

Rigged has always been the wrong word, it implies specific people benefit over others everytime. Which isn't really the case (apart from duckmandrake (the ultimate lucker)) In the end it's just an online game, why bother caring so much? |
