Why are the table Maximum the same as the new raised Minimum?
This just means the lottery players can go all in and not risk being raised

Totally agreed; this even encourages all-inners and betting out other players gets more difficult ...

All inners and chasers rejoice! Gpokr has been tailored for you.

At least i have another reason not to play gpokr.

Seems like an unnecessary change that does nothing to improve things.

Was there any prior consultation?

Don't like it, agree with TLP and Mr Womble.

More like a lottery and yet another reason to look for a better game elsewhere.

why has it changed? it's far inferior to the prior version. What exactly is the point in the change?

not impressed at all personally

Nothing on any of Ryan's blogs announcing a change. And I don't recall it ever being suggested in the ideas page.

It's to prevent loaning

How will it stop loaning?? Sure it may take them longer but it wont stop it if thats what they want to do.

My personal feeling is that the max should be 4 times the minimum.

Already I have seen more all in play than EVER before. Such a shame as the tournaments seemed to be encouraging people to play better poker rather than this all in all the time nonsense.

*SIGHS I guess I better buy some good books.
