The changes appear to be for the worse

Firstly, I believe that it was wrong to make any changes mid-competition as it disadvantaged all but those in the top 25.
Secondly, having both a minimum and a maximum buy-in, which were different, served to encourage competition and aided progression to higher stakes tables. Thirdly, using the river card as an excuse fot the changes is at best disingenuous for the simple reason that the river is an integral part of poker. I've both won and lost on it, as I'm sure many others have. OK, some hands get lucky, but that happens in any poker game. It does NOT mean the game is fixed, the opposite in fact, unless of course there are those who would have the game won the basis of the flop only. I humbly suggest that the system wasn't broken and request its re-instatement with as much speed as it was changed. Let the "purists" exemplify their obvious skills by playing the Tournaments with the knowledge that the river card can still make or break a hand. |

at 10:42 PM, Sunday November 16, 2008 EST This was a really wierd decision to have made mid-month. If you wanted to try something like this, why not start it at the beginning of the competition to level the playing field. This gives a real advantage to players with less chips and ties the hand of those who have built up their chip stack. Better rethink this quick.

at 10:46 PM, Sunday November 16, 2008 EST WTH...so to waste some time, I go to the 25/50 table and it tells me:
You have too many chips to sit here. Is this a joke? |

at 12:45 AM, Monday November 17, 2008 EST It baffles me.Seems like it will take much longer with 2500 max to work up to level 2.
Easy solution is to buy a couple more member accounts...which I did. Is this another disguised membership drive? |
