And what real life tourney? I'd like to know, because I play live games on a weekly basis. If you're not there before blinds go up, then you're shit out of luck. You can get up for a hand or so, but buy in, then sit out the entire tourney? Never seen it.

Not sure if you have heard of it but it's called the World series of poker.. Your little weekly games are designed like that but as long as they have the $10000 buy in for the WSOP then they can do what they like. Don't question it because i've seen it on TV.

I have no problem with people getting blinded out and picking up free chips from away players. Dunno what all the fuss is about.

If, on the other hand, someone registered and then can't play the ability to de-register would be good. They could get their stake back and free a seat for another player.

YOU are clearly on drugs Tottenham, if you cant recognise how crazy it is what you are saying. The fact that everyone is complaining about is that these people aren't even showing up to play at all, in a real tournament if you do not show up and register you dont play, and you definately dont make final tables and cash like i have seen numerous time here on Gpokr. I dont mind if people are playing and they go away for a while, thats normal and can be done in any form of poker. What is happening here is not normal and very annoying. I played in one last night and all but 3 people on the table were away, 6 off them didn't even show up.....!!!!! THIS SHOULD NOT HAPPEN
