at 8:37 AM, Tuesday December 2, 2008 EST I've also noticed areal, it seems as though whoever sits in has to pay the big blind, though i'm not sure how consistently this is employed and i certainly don't know the reason for it

at 9:05 AM, Tuesday December 2, 2008 EST It's so someone doesn't have to pay the big blind twice in a row when someone sits in (i think.) It also stops the blind skippers (you know who you are!)
I haven't really played so don't know if it works or not. |

at 9:50 AM, Tuesday December 2, 2008 EST this bug might have greater effects than just the blinds...
during play this morning, we saw it happen 3 times where someone went all in, then the all in was called, but the cards werent revealed. an extra $200 was credited to the person who went all in. however, that person could not see the extra $200 from their screen, it just showed them being all in. everyone else saw the extra $200. so on the following bet, the person who called the all in would bet the remaining $200 to put the original bettor all-in again. however, at this point the original all-in person, still sees a screen with the original all-in, and nothing more. so they lag out, and lose due to the extra $200 bet. after seeing this happen 3 times, i dodged this bullet when it was aimed at me, by refreshing. then i could see the extra $200 that i was credited, and then i could re-bet and stay in the hand. so, Ryan: the ante bug might have something to due with this phantom credited $200 bug (on the $100/$200 tables at least). so its not just a $200 bug, its an all-in bug too, which is pretty major. so, everyone else: if you go all in, are called, and then the cards are not immediately flipped over (as long as no sidepots are starting), then immediately hit refresh, so that you can bet your final $200 before you get lagged out. |
