Pay to go into tournaments and then half the table sit away. Why should people who play loose to people who come in and do nothing. Some have even won money doing this. Anyone else got a problem????? They should be taken of table if they sit out more than say three hands allowing for disconnections, kids, wives lol or whatever.

As Gurgi says 'if you can't beat an away player....' |

at 4:48 PM, Wednesday December 17, 2008 EST It would be fine if the away persons cards are folded automatically whether they are all in or not.
But if the away player is at final table with big blinds and are auto all in then win, it isnt fair, in my opinion. |

at 8:52 PM, Wednesday December 17, 2008 EST Other sites kick you out of the game if you away for two hands. And you go into tourneys to play not just sit away. It makes it harder to play when 5 out of 9 are away. Its called sportmanship. If you dont want to play dont pay. Just like with bad loosers, you pay you play and sometimes loose.

at 10:46 PM, Wednesday December 17, 2008 EST I agree with madness. I've played at a tourney here and sat playing 1 on 1 as every one else was "away". So it wouldn't reassign us to another table. At the very least, it should charge the "away" player the big blind for every hand they are not engaged. That way, they probably won't make it to the final table. I watched one player sit out the entire tournament and took 3rd place. That's not fair. I also support having the option to "unjoin" a tournament, as sometimes unforeseen things may pop up causing a player to not be able to stay and play.

at 3:51 AM, Thursday December 18, 2008 EST As Wombley suggests; the away players should auto-fold and pay their blinds. That way they will be blinded out very quickly and cannot win an unraised pot. Simple !
