Oh Ryan! Why must you put me through it again?

Ryan. Just thought I would bring to your attention the frustration of running 2 tournaments in tandem. Whilst I must thank you for increasing the amount of tournaments, I should point out that it was particularly frustrating to wait up til 1.55am to play in the $50k final rally only to find that I couldn't join....regardless of the fact that only 10 players joined. Apparently the sign up was only from 1am - 1.30am......this seems a little odd and away from the norm, and perhaps should have been announced at least. What is the issue with running 2 sign up programmes at the same time? Why stop sign up for an under subscribed tournament half an hour before the start?

at 8:32 PM, Sunday January 25, 2009 EST Just to clarify shed's frustration, the Final Week Rally tab was displayed, then when it came time for the Freeroll tab to come up, the Final Week Rally tab disappeared even though there were only 10 who had joined, there was no room to display it owing to the fact the end of month countdown tab is there. So no more players could join even though it wasn't full.
Tournaments need to be more evenly spaced so that signups aren't happening at the same time. |

at 9:29 PM, Sunday January 25, 2009 EST I think that it has to be hard to schedule all of these tournaments. While everyone is screaming for more more more, then you get the double up.
But, just as an FYI - the rest of the week the 50k final rally tourneys will be the same as this. So check in fast. Really its not bad that there is 1 tourney with 4 hours in between (would assume not prime times) and 2 with 3 hours and the rest with 2 hours in between. The schedule tab shows that there are 2 tourneys at the same time. Would have to set aside time for everyone to join one or the other. Maybe Ryan could just have the "join" button displayed for both? If its full, then it closes. Not sure, but would be helpful then to have 30 mins to sign in instead of the normal hour. |

at 4:57 AM, Monday January 26, 2009 EST Perhaps registering for tournaments should be done on a seperate page. The tournament page would be the obvious place for this, you could have multiple tourney invites without cluttering the playing interface.
