Same old BS. I just finished a ($50K buy-in) Tourney and two aways finished in the top six. They made 72K and 54K. When is something going to be done to stop this BS? Takes the fun out of the competition, especially in these smaller tourneys. Get with it and DO something Ryan.!!!!!!!!!!

at 9:11 PM, Thursday January 29, 2009 EST I agree...They paid the buy in, the blinds and all the other nonsense. But, this is just the same as cheating only in another way. My opinion. Granted, anyone can do it by folding every hand.
But, do keep in mind that there are other players that are at the table and let an away win a hand by not betting or folding to them. So it is not all about -- "your skills" and "Review your tourney strategy", With other players at the table. The 50k tonight, had an awayer, someone accidentally folded, that awaywr made payout of 72k. Any time you have a tourney with less than 20 ppl, these "awayers" will make final table and possible payout. Ryan, would really like to see the 5 hands away = pay big blind every hand idea implemented. Really the tourneys have been a great addition and I believe have brought better play to this site....which is something that has been important to a lot of people. Let's continue this path and put something in place. A suggestion, only sit the player if they click OK. Being that things do happen. Good friend of mine, lost power and no fault of her own was away as she couldnt get on to play. However, if she had never clicked OK and sat, would not have been away. |

at 9:24 PM, Thursday January 29, 2009 EST i don't click "OK" when my invite arrives
i take note of the table i'm at, and then click "No" so that i can play a few more hands .... after the invite arrives, there's another 2 min b4 the first deal ... plenty of time for 2-3 hands |

at 6:56 AM, Friday January 30, 2009 EST There were only 14 entrants in this tourney and the top 9 got paid, that's why a couple of away players got in to the money.

at 5:04 PM, Friday January 30, 2009 EST In the 50k free roll today Johnjordan was away from the very first hand, he finished 6th though and got 3k. Why the hell not make it so if you're away for more than say 3 hands in a row you get booted?

U see it is way to easy to cheat, and u use seats other players could use, and u dont have to pay to enter. In my opinion (for what its worth), something should be done about this). |
