$2/$4 NL, Full Ring Cash Game. Your image is tight aggressive and you have built your stack up to $400.
It is folded to you and make it $15 to go with Ad,Js. It folds round to the blinds who both call. The flop comes Jc,Th,6c. The SB (unknown player) with $300 stack leads out for $30. The BB, with $420 who was caught bluffing last hand, min-raises to $60. What do you do? A. Call and see what the turn brings. B. Re-raise to about $150 C. Push All In D. Fold |

at 1:28 PM, Sunday February 1, 2009 EST i wouldn't call because that would allow the other players to chase the flush draw when i already made top pair. i also wouldn't all in with just top pair and since i am known for being tight aggressive 150$ seems like a good bet to take the pot or known where i am at compared to the other players. so...B! :)

at 2:42 PM, Sunday February 1, 2009 EST I'd be more afraid of the SB than the BB. He raised out of position with two players behind him and even to a preflop raise (especially since you seem to imply that I'm not the button). My guess is that SB has JT and BB likely has a flush draw or a straight draw and just tries to prevent a turn bet.
I'd probably go with B although I have a bad feeling that SB will go all in (which would be promptly followed by my fold). |
