If you really are going to that line that you are removing everyone who has made unpleasant posts and comments, then you need to suspend also your own account. Also you have had a bad day and been not so nice in chat after you put all in and lost all you money.. chips and then made unpleasant comments instead of writing eg. "nh". And it was only question of $1500... on some boards you don't even see the flop with that... Also I think it is strange that some people mention private emails as one reason for suspending someones account. How about then conversations on the street or phone. Are there GPokr email accounts (like [email protected]) and and are they monitored too? |

It seems you haven't grasped what was going on. An abusive post inviting people to make further abusive comments about a players looks was made and I stated anyone continuing that thread would be chat banned and muted until the end of August. I am sure you will agree we do not need that kind of personal abuse here. Half the community here may make a bad comment after a bad beat or terrible call by someone that gets lucky, that's human, however it is when this becomes 'personal' abuse that it becomes an issue. There are no my_username@gpoker e-mail accounts therefore no monitoring of them so I can't answer your last comment. |

You should just remove those abusive threads. There is no reason to leave those insults here. Then there would no need to threat anyone that way (what if there are hundreds of those who don't obey you and you need to work whole day just suspending their accounts). Also rules need to be same to everyone, only that would be fair. Also 1st muting could be shorter (depends on the case, of course), e.g. just one week (like a warning) and only if that didn't help, then you could give those long 2 month bans. just my 2 cents |
