Here's the issue that I am currently bringing up; please say yes or no in your answer...with a reason attached.
How many people have suffered at one time or another and had the winning hand but freeze?? Don't we all suffer from lag?? Does he check these forums, for people helping this site out by one way or another?? I know I have and probably alot of you have. Also, what he needs to do is what he used to do and throw a "break" from gpokr for him to exam these things on a weekly basis or even halfway through a month to evaluate the site. If your cookies(used files) are being built up every hand you play which has a number attached so it starts to cause lag; is also another concern. There is a program out there to clear your cookies when u sign on and off the computer and I currently use this. I have also talked with a mod; yes you heard a mod(name withheld). There responce to the issue at hand is to write this and let you(the gpokr people) solve this. Only you, the gpokr people; can honestly help resolve these issues. Also, we have rules we must follow and some of us are members, mods and just learning how to play. So, please answer this and lets make an influence to have a better time here with no problems. PS- What would you do to resolve this, if its a continuing thing? The more people respond the better chance of Ryan looking and responding; thank you. PATTIE CAKES(yearly member) |

I agree that GPOKR is a less stable site than it should be. I am no computer genius, but I use computers every day at work and home and can see when things work well and when they don't. So, when will we hear from the website rockstars that run GPOKR? Is it as simple as removing cookies? If so, give us a quick tutorial on how to prevent these issues. If it's a site issue, fix it and let us know. I hope this forum letter generates a lot of responses and some action that results in real solutions. Todd the Wad esq. |

Yes there are alot of problems with this site and lagging yesterday for a lot of people was connected to the site and nothing to do with cookies or anyones computer. If lagging remove cookies and even check running programes in background. But if that doesnt work well then it is your turn for a bad connection to this site. Ryan is aware of all this problems. The tourney glitches and winnings going missing. The list is too long. Maybe he will change his site one day and his programe. But til then we have to enjoy what we have. (yearly member) |

Plus some of the Mods has favorites and let them get away with alot. While other plyers follow rules that are set forth. Come on Lets all get together and give Ryan your opions. What about going for almost a month and not getting any hands that keep ya playing. I am so upset with this site. I love to play and I know how but "something" is keep me from being able to even "stay in the game".
Ryan needs to look over the site and see if there could be something resolved. Well, this isn't gonna help me but I feel somewhat better. |

In addition to the numerous connections, the nature of the play is extremely server-intensive. A lot of simultaneous calculations and requests are being made. Short of investing a lot more money into a very pimped-out box, this is probably as good as it shall get. And, imo, all things considered, it's actually pretty good the majority of the time.
