PLEASE do not keep posting on the forum about it! Whoever is making the bots just loves the attention and hooha he is causing.
Sadly he has made his way here from Xsketch where as fast as he can be banned he makes more accounts that automatically flood the chat with these horrid comments. KKM is doing her best to ban the names as they appear but he uses 'tricks' to make it impossible to just copy and paste to ban him. Sadly these programmers know how to get around IP bans so if anyone knows how to block Spambots completely please e-mail Ryan. |

If you read my post the point is that this isnt a real player but a bot that automatically post the same messages over and over. Lots of people making new threads about it every 2 minutes in the forum posting his drivel only exasperates the problem and floods the forum as well as the chat box. Ryan and mods know about them and Ryan is trying to find a solution that will block. Usually if you copy and paste the name into the Player Search and it isnt found it will be a bot. If you see it then by all means highlight the problem with a heading 'Suspected Spambot' and post the name which can be investigated. I'm just asking the community not to give the guy creating these bots the time of day. He deserves a clip round the ear NOT more space for his drivel. |
