at 1:56 PM, Tuesday November 3, 2009 EST I see what you mean, i hate calls like that from very loose players, i prob would have folded your bet on the turn with 78.
But if i got called on the flop and the turn and he bet the river like that i would think i was probabally beat with K9 on that board, dont you think?? |

at 5:13 PM, Tuesday November 3, 2009 EST Link, did the thought "kicker trouble" register in your mind after miti called your raise on the flop? You could've bet less or just called the bet flop and checked the turn.
Top pair average kicker is never great. Did you ever think he could've held a set or 2pr? Top pair iffy kicker means win a small one or lose a big one most times. Pot control was key in your position but you got all your chips in middle somehow. Dunno what the blinds were, how many at the table or any other info but the K9 looks a bit over adventurous in that situation. It's one thing to criticize miti's play but what do you think of your own play? |
