Problems with Joining Tourney's

It appears that a few things have changed with this site. I was talking with Rob.S and he claims I should not be having these issues. It is no secret that Cashman and I live in the same house. Before we could play Tourney's at the same time but we could NOT sit at the same table in regular rooms. Now if we happen to have the same days off for some reason we can not play ANY tourneys at the same time. While I realize that Ryan has made changes to the site so people can not play multiple accounts and cheat. Cashman and I are NOT the same person. We have a desktop computer and a laptop which connects to the internet with a Router. Now with this change we can not play tourney's at the same time which I feel is highly UNFAIR~!!!! We are both PAYING members to this site. I can understand not being able to play the Freeroll's at the same time because they do not cost anything to join. However now we can not play Member's tourney's either~!!! It is not often that we are home at the same time.
This issue is frustrating and causes conflict. We can not afford to go out and get another internet provider so we have 2 different IP addresses. I truly feel that this issue should be addressed accordingly. As I have stated above...."I realize that this is to prevent players from cheating" BUT we are 2 different players and just because we live in the same household we are being treated as "One Person" I would like the Mod's to email Ryan and see if he can rectify this issue. Making this worse is that we are PAYING Members. I would be okay with not being able to play the Freeroll's together but ANY Tourney that you have to pay to get into especially "Members" Tourney's we should be able to play at the same time. In all honesty I purchased a NEW Laptop because it was so hard to each get computer time in this house because of GPokr. (LOL) Up until this IP thing we were able to play Tourney's at the same time. PLease DO NOT come back with replies that say Ryan did this to prevent "Cheating" as I am aware of this and I feel that this is a good thing. But what about those of us that live in the same house???? The Laptop being wireless connecting with a Router gives it he same IP address~!!! There MUST be some way to rectify this situation especially being a paying member. I am sure that Ryan is capable of taking the time to keep his PAYING Members happy as there are some exceptions to the rule. So Rob S. I have posted as you have told me now will you email Ryan like you said and help to fix this problem. It will be much appreciated. Thank you for your time. |

at 11:02 AM, Wednesday November 11, 2009 EST Wow I never thought this would happen but has been a big issue for families in the same house. The Shed and her husband are the same and if they are lucky it is the one time they get to sit at a same table on gpokr and have a little fun is in tourneys. But because of spoil sports yet again the innocent have to pay too. And then we have to look at it from the other side, free or not who really enjoys all the awayers? (catch 22) Good Luck on being able to play same tourney with partners all.
