Last month (July) I kept a log on two pair on flop since most seem to think that this is a death hand. The results were pretty impressive as to the amount of times they would win. I thought it might have been a fluke since I won a blue medal by a fluke, too.

This August, I didn't win anything so there was no fluke this time. Here are my results.

Of the 64 hands that I stayed with, I flopped two pair. 78% (49)won, 22% (14) lost and one tied.
Of those hands 15% (9) became winning full houses but 5% (3)lost to full houses.

What was interesting was that only 7 out of the 64 were beaten by a flush or straight (or 4 to a straight or flush on the table to which I folded).

As you can see, the results are in favor of the 2 pairs. You can compare these with my last months results if you like.
