at 8:02 AM, Friday August 2, 2013 EDT I have posted this in the advisor forum. Normally, mods will vote on a candidate to become an advisor.
I agree that the list does need to be modified. Its been requested on several occasions :) So hopefully it will be done this time. |

at 2:16 PM, Friday August 2, 2013 EDT Yes and coming back and playing a few hands and then being gone for another several months does not qualify being part of the community either. I think the community should nominate who they would consider to be an ideal mod as I really dont think any other way works. Up until lately there has only been one mod who has been consistant.

at 3:49 AM, Saturday August 3, 2013 EDT hi there,
I'm mostly a Kdice mod although I also spend (lots of) time on Xsketch too and very occasionally on Gpokr. When Ryan adds an advisor or moderator to one site, they automatically become an advisor on the other 2 sites as well. Usually there is no harm in that but normally mods stick to the site they know best because they are familiar with the players, the game rules and customs. There have been a few rare cases where a mod went to a sister site and conflicted too much with the moderating of the usual mods so they were stripped of their powers on the other site. Maybe it should be best to do a clean up (limiting the list to mods that at least occasionally play the site in question) so the mod list doesn't look so inactive on all sites. have fun guys :) |
