I keep hearing this so once again I decided to see the %-age of winning when flopping cards that matched my pocket cards.

This month I had 37 (not including those that I folded before flop). Of these, 24 were winners and 3 were ties. There were only 3 that turned into a Full House, 2 straights, 2 flushes, and one quads.

This translates to 69% winners.
