Hi everyone,
As some of you know, lately tmetrex has been spewing his evil bile when he loses at gpokr online, calling people names like bitch and fag. Trying to understand the root of his ignorant behaviour, DrRich and I asked tmetrex about his education. tmetrex claimed to have a recent Master's degree in Electrical Engineering from the Univ of Texas, but wasn't able to describe his thesis topic. (What's that?) Of course 2 minutes of internet sleuthing was all it took to show this to be a lie. His online dating profile clearly states that he only has "some college". http://www.pof.com/viewprofile.aspx?profile_id=40135469 Furthermore, a follow up phone call to the University of Texas confirmed that Abel Arrendondo "does not have any degree from this institution". tmetrex, Are you Abel to treat other players with dignity and respect as you claim in your online dating profile? |

I was at the table when you and time were at each other and both were as bad as each other. I totally agree with fech, why post personal details on forum? No idea how you even got them. And nobody really cares what he does for a living, we are all here to play gpokr and have some laughs, nothing more.

He was bragging about a fake Master's degree, so as far as I'm concerned he opened the door. Calling it internet sleuthing was probably an overstatement, all I did was do a simple Google search for "tmetrex" that revealed things tmetrex posted on the net PUBLICALLY. That's hardly an invasion of privacy. As for my playing ability, I won't make any apologies for playing competitively. If you don't want to play a GAME with competitive players maybe you should take up another hobby... |

I wasnt taking about how you play your cards.My point is that you make a habit of demeaning other players in order to make yourself seem important. It's a tactic only used by people with very low selfesteem so obviously your college education that you feel the need to brag about didn't include a class in basic good manners. |

A common aspect of my response when someone starts abusing me is for me to ask about their education. But in general, I have never mentioned my education. So you are making an inference. I have hardly bragged about my education, if I have then clearly you are able to give me some details about what this is (hint: you can't)
