I'm not a big fan of this site but I do think this Forum is pretty cool. It's the only poker site i even seen with one.

I just wanted to throw a few ideas out there and see if gets any feedback. I realize probably most of you just play for fun only but for those that are trying to get better, like myself, a debate or conversation is a excellent way to learn a few things.

Here's a few quick thoughts I have about the game.

1) Don't get so caught up into all the numbers and percentages of hands and trying to bet/fold mathmatically.......If you use free sites like these for practice you can play a lot of hands and you will get a good feel as to what good value is. My theory is to just go out there and learn the hard way and you'll probably have some fun along the way. I say save the math for when your dropping a Grand on the table.

2) Don't be so quick to fold crappy cards. It's probably a good idea to fold quickly in the small tables on a site like this but when you get into bigger tables or tournament type settings the play becomes a lot tighter. Many times you will see tables that let you limp in for a single big blind........Hey if top hands wanna give you a low-risk chance to out draw them you should take that bet upwards of 90% of the time with almost any pocket.

Hey thanks for reading look forward to reading any thoughts ya'll have.
