ok Da Ri...stop blaming Ryan or the other mods....It was my decision...i tried to talk to you about it , but you wouldnt respond...I will not and will not ever ban a player because of bad humor...now if you decide not to come back...you can blame me, it was all my call. It was in bad humor and he knew it and asked for the account to be removed.

Dari even though I have blinders on as far as this name goes I understood how it had got you upset and went to this guy and asked him as a personal favour for me as a personal favour for you to stop playing that account and he volunteered to request to have the account removed, which he did do so. Maybe I was wrong to do this and just left it alone so I am sorry for that cause I thought you would have been happy with the outcome but obviously not. This guy himself has fought in the real world and seen the destruction it has left and has his own ways of dealing with life after it all. If humour is it,so be it. Better than alot of bitterness and negativity. So once again sorry I approached him about this.

I DON'T blame the mods individually, I'd rather wish to THANK those who were wise to take action to remove the contemptible name of one player. Thank you gnice, kkm and my beloved greeeeenie (and many more).
I DO blame the 'system' in which a mod has to work: no rules and hence total responsability for a mod to decide wether he/she takes action or not. This opens the way to arbitrariness. Why not do as 'pokerstars': if you use an insulting word, ¨the word doesn't appear, you only see *******.

I find it hard to believe (and IF: unacceptable) that someone who 'was in action in Iraq' either sympathizes with a terroristic organisation or thinks it's funny to use its name. I don't know any English, Belgian or French pple who think it is funny (or worse, were 'proud') to call themselves 'Nazi'.

IS is a hard cruel criminal organisation that abuses religion to try to attrack young confused people which they can abuse for their own profit to make them do horrible things against innocent people.
Using its name 'for fun' as a player's name has the danger of making a criminal organisation 'socially acceptable'. In this 'gpokr' has a responsabillity.
If Orlando proofs anything, it is that there cannot be the slightest understanding of making IS 'acceptable'. Not in accepting a player using it's name, not in accepting a site that tolerates this.
That's what my disappointment in gpokr is all about.

Blame it on me, I mostly am (was) multitasking while playing at gpokr. So, the chat very often got lost to my attention.

Da Ri- the IS account has been deleted. Why do you continue to feed the forum with the same repetitive statements. im very sure folks expressed their condolences on FB, snap chat, twitter, etc.
Since you dont have a facebook it is easy to see why you are expressing your outcry on this forum.

A little story on the IS account. IS was being verbally harassed by multiple players and there was one MOD at the table, who will remain anonymous, and they only kept silent, even after IS asked the MOD to take control of the table.
This is a free site, what more can i expect?

I have no doubt that what I have to say will be twisted by some and I will probably regret not staying silent. However, those that know me will understand that silent is not in my nature. ENOUGH ALREADY!!!! Dari hun, I agreed wit you that the name was in poor taste. Still do!!! I went to Maddie who I consider a dear friend with the situation and she agreed to speak to "IS" on your behalf. He then asks gnice to remove the acct. I have to respect that. As he unfortunately broke no rules and did it as a favor to a friend. We all need to learn that living people is more important than agreeing with them. I have no idea what in life has caused "Is" to use what he considers to be humor the way he does. But, I do know serving in the military during a time of war changes people in a way no one can ever understand, it changed my son forever!!! As adults, and humans we must realize we can not judge others, nor force our morles or values upon them. Gpokr certainly has it's issues, only the owner of the site can address. However, as all of you know we all return because it is the most social poker site out there and is the reason we can't stay away. I have come to love so many here, and am thankful for this place. I understand and agree with your beliefs Dari. However, I urge you to see beyond a name and accept that you don't have to agree with everyone, and are called to have love for all. Wouldn't it be easy to love only those who you understand and agree with...I must say.. I respect both of you for different reasons, and hope this can finally be put to rest... Let's all agree to disagree and enjoy the play that is exclusive to Gpokr!!!! Hugsss Bama!!! ð???
