Hello Ryan, I am MCFC formerly known as UNC.
I have been on here a great number of years and met so many lovely people on here including the Amazing Lynmay who I will never forget. This is a fantastic poker site here which many of us love, but as you know it's not without its problems. The confirmation emails doesn't work so new players can't chat and often don't stay, the lag is a major problem and needs sorting, the card dealer program favours the attacking player, so this is just encouraging the all inners to constantly go all in on practically anything and win which is ruining gpokr, it spoils it for the serious poker players. (A random card dealer program would be fairer for all) The numbers on gpokr are getting lower and lower and things need sorting. I really think you should take the time to sort it or sell it. Kind regards Martin. |

at 2:36 PM, Sunday February 2, 2025 EST Great post Martin and thank you for doing it. According to some programmers who play here (and some MODS have confirmed this), Ryan changed the RNG about 4 years ago to encourage new players who were not as skilled. Apparently it has some built-in features like rewarding aggressive play and giving the edge to new players (under level 10). I'm not sure if this is true but if it is I would encourage Ryan to go back to the old RNG that was completely random as I've notice many good poker players have left and many old players creating alternate accts to gain an advantage. Hope if he does, the good players will come back and the site can be like it was years ago with full tables every night. It is the best online free poker site I've found, but this RNG is ruining the site and encouraging poor poker play.
