at 4:24 PM, Thursday August 24, 2006 EDT usually it's the big and small blind combined in order to avoid that a player leaves seat and sits in again after the blinds passed his seat

at 10:58 AM, Friday November 17, 2006 EST blind management needs to be a little better: newcomers shouldn't get the *button* forcing me to get hit with the blinds for four hands in a row.

being "away" during a blind is tough, leaving it as is for now seems to work OK. Jumping in on the button, as King points out, is just unfair. |

at 7:16 PM, Tuesday December 19, 2006 EST Here is my idea of good blind management for an ongoing tourney with ring games:
1. New player must pay a big blind upon entry. 2. New players will be forced to sit out if they are ON the button or in the small blind until the button passes. 3. Once the button passes, or for any other new player: the player can choose to sit in and pay the BB (out of turn, and extra as they are buying position advantage), or sit out at no cost until they are in the BB. 5. Any player sitting out pays blins as normal. |

at 3:21 PM, Monday January 1, 2007 EST I agree with cAPSLOCK, new players should be allowed to sit in the BB, or on the button, but should have to wait until the button passes them in order to play, and then should have to post BB in order to start playing
