What do you do?

You're playing a NL Texas hold'em in a 6 max ring game. Blinds are $0.50/$1.00

Stacks:
SB: $87
BB: $135 (Villain)
UTG: $107
UTG +1: $88
CO: $102
BT: $132 (You, Hero)

You've been at the table for several rounds and noticed that the Villain is a solid TAG player and can be a little tricky at times. You have just had a losing bluff called and have a loose table image.

You are dealt 9d9h on the button. It is folded round to you and you raise 3xBB or $3.00. SB folds, BB calls.

Pot $6.50

Flop comes 9c8c3h

SB (Villain) checks
BT (Hero) bets $4
SB (Villain) raises $12 more
BT (Hero) calls the $12

Pot $38.50

Turn comes 2c, not a good card for you

Board 9c8c3h2c

Villain bets:

Scenario A. $15.50

Scenario B. $21.50

Scenario C. $42.00

How and why do you respond to the Villain's turn bet in each scenario?

I was faced with scenario B recently and wondered whether I did the right thing. I think I got it right but would like to read your responses and see what others think about folding/calling/raising in this spot(s).

1 people think this is a good idea

call to see river, raise not worth the chips if he's flushed he'll re-raise all in, u could f/house or box the river
hope this is useful as i assume this was the real mc'coy
at the end of the day the Q. is this, is the call worth the risk (cash wise and available outs left) to you....10 outs + clubs if he's bluffin

Calling not an option....You may either rise to see where he's at or fold. But this is mostly a feel play....in this case you just lost a big bluff and now may have let a flush get there by not 3 betting a huge holding. No matter what you ever say about the hand you are a frustrated player at the table so this play basically depends on what type of player you are. For me I most likely fold and wait for a better spot......it is a very tricky play cause you got the button and a set yet are on the defense with him repping(or holding) a flush

I would just call it down unless you hit a full house on the river. If he bets big on the river he could be trying to buy. It's a tough spot. How did it work out for you?
