Hi all,
Ryan has spent a good deal of time trying to improve things for US. Some will like things better some won't. Ryan can please some of the people all of the time, all of the people some of the time but NO-ONE can please ALL of the people ALL of the time. A lot topics are coming up about things not working or dislikes, let's put them all in this one place for Ryan and remember BE CONSTRUCTIVE if you dont like something give a reason in a polite manner and if something isn't working for you try and explain the problem as fully as possible to help Ryan identify it :-) Be lucky, have fun *blows kisses |

at 5:30 PM, Wednesday January 2, 2008 EST Can we have the total amount at a table put back - saves having to trawl round trying to find out if you can afford to sit down.

at 5:35 PM, Wednesday January 2, 2008 EST I can't speak for too many of the other problems since I can't see any cards yet. I know Ryan's working on this one. I will comment on the fact that the "gpokr stats" that used to display what hands have paid out the most/least for an individual player seems to be missing. I found this to be useful info when calculating whether to stay in a hand.

at 6:02 PM, Wednesday January 2, 2008 EST I can't seem to play at all. As soon as I sit in it shows me there, then after a min or so the screen flashes and is speeds through abunch of bets community cards and such while I am away. I have not been able to make one call or bet yet :o(
Is IE not the preferred browser?? Should I use something else to cut the lag issue?? |

at 6:18 PM, Wednesday January 2, 2008 EST when i do show up at a table, i just watch the person whose turn it is time out, then it freezes. I hit refresh, but then i'm either not at the table anymore or it shows my status as "away". What the hell is going on with this. If its dosn't get fixed soon i will not play on this site anymore and my friends at work won't ether we all play at the same time on line. If this is going on with play money. Then what is going on with the real money games, until this is fixed I won't play any real money games because if
I have a big hand and lose because of this problem. I will get pissed off and will never play on this site again. My freinds won't ether and that's about 20 more plays that will leave this site. |

at 6:22 PM, Wednesday January 2, 2008 EST I have the same issue as Tony. I can't even sit at the table and watch a complete hand w/o having to refresh. I like the look and the inprovements, but none of that matters if we can't play :o(

at 7:10 PM, Wednesday January 2, 2008 EST OK. I think I'm done with gpokr until the issues get corrected. I have not played a hand. I am just watching a table and my chip stack keeps going down.
Not sure if Ryan is looking at the forums to see that there are alot of people that are having the same troubles. I guess it is less important that a few people can't play at all as long as the majority can. I do like that look of the new site and appreciate the work that went into the new server, but I think more testing is needed to be done to get the major bugs sorted out. If there are requirements needed to play (ie. specific browser, specific browser settings, etc.), then these need to stated somewhere. If no new requirements are needed than something is not working right and needs to be addressed. |
