at 10:58 AM, Friday October 3, 2008 EDT Imp, if that is you in your picture, then I happen to think you are very attractive, if you have kids, I would even go as far as to call you a MILF.
Imp, for CG, Im sure you dont, but I wouldnt take any insult to what she says, as I am VERY VERY positive that she is not featured on her picture, instead she finds other women to represent her. As for CGs political points, seriously, come on. I am not going to get on here and act like I have a great political know abouts for the candidates, however I can say that I would not base my disicion on race OR SEX, like CG does. CG, it is getting pretty clear that you are only voting and campaigning for Palin as she is decent looking woman. What has our society come to, when someone is basing their political views on a race or sex. Very obvious that you know nothing, just wanted her as she is a woman. WAY TO HELP THE US, GREAT VOTE CG. Also seems like since you are going for a Woman, that you dont care if she is or isnt quailified, no matter how much it is pointed out, I think you are tricking youself, thats pretty sad. I do not want to bash anyone's political points of view, everyone has a right to vote for who they want, but if you going to get on here and tell everyone how hot she is and that is why she would be a good VP, sorely mistaken. I think that best way to sum up Palin and CG: You can take the ho out the trailer park, but you cant take the trailer park out the ho! For any woman that are offended by my use of the word "ho." I apologize, I dont usually refer to women that way, this is intended for CG and her goddess Palin. |

at 3:17 PM, Friday October 3, 2008 EDT To CG, I am cynical about our election process in general because since 1964 nearly all our elected officials (save one) have gone to Washington, raised taxes, and then raped the american public without even a thank you note. They have over spent our budget without concern since the mid 1970's and put the US in the economic hole it's now trying to find a way out of. All our elected officials, Senators, Congressmen, and members of the Executive branch, are culpable. The only way we will ever see our government back in the hands of the people is if we eliminate any salary for public office over that of an average citizen. Make it a felony punishable by life in prison or worse if you take any kind of payment or bribe to vote a certain way on an issue. In essesnce bring back the original way of our government where people served for the honor of serving their states, not to feather their nests or get a book deal or lecture tour. I have trouble making a distinction between Republican or Democrat in our government today because both groups are guilty of the same offenses against the american people. In France when the aristocracy went too far and the people were left in poverty, the people revolted and executed nearly all of them. I am not advocating a return to the days of the French Revolution, but radical change is needed if we ever want this United States to be great like it was in the first 175 years of it's life

at 3:44 PM, Friday October 3, 2008 EDT You really think that CG is going to understand ONE WORD YOU JUST SAID? Probably not, but I enjoyed it, your getting pretty serious Rob.
Take a Vicadin, and relax, I get the impression that you're pretty smart, but seems like you are way too wrapped up in this. Its a forum on a fake money poker site. |

at 11:41 PM, Friday October 3, 2008 EDT rob the only reason i posted earlier was because i have become accustomed to you writing a better argument. i took no position regarding any facts, but i did bristle when you cited rove as an authority ... what he said may have been true, but he has no credibility ... and to cite him as an authority cannot possibly convince anyone. in reply you wrote:
"Karl Rove was one of many that commented..." that's true. but originally you only cited Rove ... as an authority ... that is something which i find unacceptable Rove is unacceptable, Carville is unacceptable, Begalla, is unacceptable ... All three of these (and many other talking heads) are unacceptable because of how they earned their "names" They became known to me thru their paid work "helping" specific political candidates ... they all share in common a definition of the term "help," a definition which required them to frequently lie in order to provide their clients with "value for their money" do you remember the lies carville (and many others) told in their professional capacity while he was "helping" Clinton ? of course you do. i remember them too and personally i'll never forgive those feck-heads for ruining one of the greatest precedents our fortunate country (or any country in history!) ever owned. i'm talking about the impeachment-precedent created by the republicans during Nixon's (resign or we will remove you) and Reagan's (testify on camera or else ... or else ... don't test our resolve Mr.President) administrations if any democrats said such a thing to Clinton, they caved when he choose to test them. our current impeachment-precedent is: dont matter what he's done, we will never remove "our President" because under our system, the only way a President can be removed is if the members of the same party holding seats in the Senate turn-against him and vote him out even "if" doing this will run them the risk of losing their next primary i don't respect many politicians, of either party, but i do respect those republicans (Jim Leach, et al) who either resigned their jobs in the Nixon administration or those Senate-Republicans who vowed straight to Nixon's face that they would remove him. i no longer am a democrat because there wasn't a single one of those Senators who cherished our former impeachment-precedent as much as they should. for feck's-sake, all except one of them (Feingold, WI) voted to dismiss the House's charges for lack of evidence. lack of evidence !! starr may have made mistakes, but failing to accumulate rock-solid evidence was not one of them. when the moment arrived, Reno didn't think of herself or her party ... she authorized the wire on linda tripp ... therefore i can respect Janet Reno when the moment arrived, the Senate democrats fecked-up and thru away one of america's strongest weapons of self-defense oh! ... i'm sorry .... where am i?? ... what was the topic?? ... hmmm ... oh, yeah: folks like rove and carville, if you wish you may defend their "accomplishments" ... you may argue that they fill a necessary role in our system ... the argument is usually along the lines of, "before you can do anything, you have to win the election" ... fine, you can do that but to cite any one of them as an authority on whether-or-not a member of the "enemy-party" told the truth??? no, they lie too easily ... everyone knows they lie ... it's the major part of their job-description to "help" their client .... c'mon Rob. ... you're better than that ... c'mon |

at 8:08 AM, Saturday October 4, 2008 EDT Gummo, all I did was write a direct quote from fox that happened to be Rove's (really cause his was the one I remembered best). The information he gave was still factual and had been brought out by numerous others before I wrote the post. My position in respect to politics is clear. I think both parties are corrupt and ineffective. So I guess you and I do agree about the state of our current political system. By the way I took no offense at your comments at all. You're still a friend.
