Take your point Mudde, but it would do no harm to try it and see what the uptake was like. For me the current hurried format is too much like a lottery and doesn't allow players to get into a groove.

Dunno about the rest of you but i don't much like playing poker for 30 to 40 minutes, i prefer to play a few hours at one sitting.

tournaments usually last much longer than 2 hours, I think it's fine to have full length one on final day. Maybe a token for winning it?

Ryan, the ability to de-register if you have joined a tourney and can't make it would be good.

Frees a place up for another player and you get your chips back.

I am yet to play in a tourn...But have been looking at them i think i agree with Jules should be lower small and big as you pretty much stuffed if you dont hit.

Suggestion for the daily tournaments. I have noticed ALOT of people who sit "away" for almost the entire game, or they play a few hands to get a decent starting stack then sit out. Now I realize that eventually the blinds will get them but why not have it if you sit "away" for more than say 2 or 3 rounds in a row you automatically forfeit your buy in and place at the table. Just a suggestion.

Also, in the more recent one Big Freeroll, I wasnt playing but counted 30 out of the 60 left who were sitting out??

there was one person, i wont mention names but he got a high stack, then sat out until the end and cane 3rd.
