thirdly no problem with the fact that the names are similar, but, surley the reaction from lei ( the over zelous power crazy mod)should have been to inquire before the knee jurk reaction of a threat of a ban. as i have said she can check the ip with RYAN. AND IT WILL BECOME QUITE CLEAR SHE IS WRONG!!

Well, if you check with a dictionary, it will become quite clear that you are wrong, that it is spelt zealous and not zelous lol.

Whether I was right or wrong, you were only warned, so maybe you should move on with your life and stop dwelling on this instead of ranting about it in the forum.

Storm in a teacup, but it reminds me; about a year ago one of my sons borrowed Vince Carter's sleepy avatar and set up Vince Carter 2. Everyone chatted to "Vince",the gpokr legend of that time, and gave VC2 far too much respect.People even asked him for loans!

Now poor Vince would be getting stern warnings.

Leave the mods alone, instead of getting to play poker, they get to babysit the minority (quickly becoming majority) of retards on this site.

I know they are the rules and given that they are in place, I can see no problem with the actions that went on here. However, I dont see why you cant play two accounts at once anyway. You are unable to play on the same table so you can't cheat. If a player wants to combine accounts, this rule will not stop that. It will still be up to the gpokr prefects (term of endearment) to spot that and take action where necessary.

I play two accounts (but not at the same time as per the rules). One has 1 million on and I use that to play at the high tables and pick a table with friends on because I like the social aspect of gpokr but if I want to play with some other friends, I will switch accounts on play on the lower tables if thats where they are. I dont like going to the lower tables with 800k etc or whatever but I reiterate, I can't see the problem with playing two acocunts at the same time and I know of other players that feel the same way.

OKAY, honestly....Lei did nothing wrong here. She warned. Nothing more. It is common to see "Deer" say deer food. So the association is fairly simple to see.

Besides it was a warning. It is nearly impossible to know for sure who is who. However, when players have been playing multiple accounts for ages and then we have the rules laid out in black and white.

WAIIIIIITTTT --- There it is everyone, the rules are finally there for all to see.

I personally do not like the rule of playing 1 acct at the same time....but until or if it is changed, we have to adhere and advisors enforce.

Would like to inform players, advisors (excluding ryan) do NOT have a win button, do NOT have the ability to check IP addresses, do NOT have the ability to give chips and take away chips!
