RutttOh: just go talk to yourself Why Me: knock it off Punk In Drublic: ugh i admit i am not innocent in this back and forth,but rutttoh took it very far and was very offensive, ESPECIALLY after I told him that his comments were particularly offensive to me. In all fairness, I did start this altercation, but it was not malicious when it started. I tried to explain that I was joking about what I said, that rutttoh was a "cheater" and a "pervert" but he played the entire thing off in an irreverant manner that is fitting after seeing his chat tendencies. |

at 9:17 PM, Saturday May 2, 2009 EDT I guess what this comes down to is a matter of perspective. What he sees as "not letting up," I saw as a obvious joke that we were both carrying on. He made no indication that he was taking it seriously or that he did not understand it was a joke until he made the offensive comment. So from my point of view it was all in good fun until it took a drastic turn and then ended.
He can claim innocence, and invoke his usual patterns of behavior, but does that excuse THIS offense? If he truly saw the situation as me not letting up, what were his comments going to do but excite a greater reaction? I know it isn't my call, but my stance is that this does not merit muting. Honestly, all I want is for people to act on here as if they were face to face. About 99% of the ridiculous comments would never be made if people thought about that for a second. Yeah, Rutttoh? |
