Good afternoon GPokr. For those of you that don't know me, I am a long time KDice player and current moderator for that site. I generally avoid moderating the GPokr and XSketch sites unless someone comes to me with an issue when none of the GPokr mods are around.
My reason for posting today is to try and get everyone on the same page with regards to illegalities on these sites. Recently there have been a few bannings on the KDice website for use of profanity. I fail to see the rules set forth by Ryan say anything about cursing or profanity being illegal, unless you consider profanity "hate language". I personally define hate language as a term or set of terms used to belittle a person or group of people based on their social or ethnic group. Terms such as "nigger", "faggot" and "spick" come to mind when I think of hate language. Terms such as "fuck you", "suck my dick" or "you're a little bitch" are examples of profanity. I have personally heard Ryan use profanity on MANY occasions both in chat and in posts. This begs the question, why ban people for using profanity? I'd like your thoughts. Thanks, Thrax |

at 8:52 PM, Wednesday September 16, 2009 EDT i never liked the CLASSICd term because i had too big of an ego. i was all proud that i came up with the idea of CAPSLOCKd words, and everyone was goin around saying PWNd. then i believe it was int who came up with CLASSICd, so i was immediately jealous, cus the bitches in the cabal were all like OMG INT IS HILARIOUS.
and then the next month, wish introduced the change from PWNd to PWNT, and everyone switched to that. and i was really pissed. then weakstepped hit, and all of a sudden i was a nobody. until i came up with naPWNleon dynamite, that is. btw, im running a test on the xsketch forums. |

Getting upset at a hand is one thing, but directing your anger at other players gets tiresome after awhile. Also, I try to listen to other players. Many times I'll have 4 ppl come to me at a table and say "this guy is getting out of hand, can you help" and I'll go watch. This is still an all ages site. As for the chatlogs, when one is presented to me, I add the offender to my list and try to see for myself. Then I make a decision, never simply based on what someone gave me. And as always, a warning or two or three is always given before any action is taken. Hope this answered your questions..=)
