Everyone knows that you are in danger of someone calling who is large staked if you bet preflop so low. If your preflop bet was higher then you would have chased away the low card caller. You were on the 1k table 6k is not enough pre flop. IMO

Wallak, same same mate. The standard of play here is terrible. Trying to survive an army of idiot callers and taking fake chips off donkeys is not satisfying in any way. The hand you posted is a good example of the norm here. Trouble is it's not satisfying to win against these donks either.

It's nice to drop in from time to time and chat with some of the nice people here but in terms of poker it's an awful place.

I really wonder how the hardcore medal chasers stay motivated month after month. Many of the better players have left this site and I'm sure that the remaining handful of decent players will eventually leave as well since they can't improve their game playing at a sub-stardard level all the time.

The call after flop is a bit of a chase too far , and the call at 60k is rediculous, but putting both aside a 9-11k preflop bet may have stopped him being in hand in the first place.

Nuts I never commented on the betting later in the hand in my post, i was simply stating that a higher preflop would chase away (probably) these sort of pockets. Obviously if you want callers then bet lower, but people call with some very odd hands here, and they chase like there is no tomorrow. ET has been doing it all month and hitting so you run the risk...
