I have been here now for 7 yrs and a mod for a few yrs.I would like to think I have seen it all but I know I havent. It just amazes me how the same people the same complaints go over and over and over year after year. You keep it up as if you did not know what Gpokr was all about! I would think you would become weary about talking about it.
Cheating is with us, it will never go away. I have seen the outright cheating. The 2 girls who had online sex for chips(believe it or not). A whole family playing while on the phone with each other.Friends on yahoo messanger or fb or msn while playing. I was also told of a program that lets you see what cards other people have and we can go on and on. The sad fact is people cheat and that is not going to change.Mods were told that we can not go by what is pasted in the forum as it can be altered. We were told to have people take a screen shot then post. Or a mod who sees first hand. Just because a mod does not announce what they are doing or post in the forum doesnt mean they are not doing anything.A few months ago I almost quit as I could no longer play as I had to help people constantly and really I do want to help but we needed more mods to help. I try to be on every day. If you want to play real poker please go to a real site! This site is for fun,free play, fake chips,fake medals. How can anyone be mad ever from being beat? That's the way it goes! Get over it and have fun. After what I have seen on this site I have come to the conclusion you can't make people happy no matter what you do,it is up to them! I have also come to the decision that maybe there should not be any rules at all, no mods either. Ryan can get a program that filters out certain words like yahoo and other sites use for the people who get offended with words and racial slurs. That would totally end all of the forum postings of that sort. Have fun guys, enjoy yourself,make real friendships with the people who play here. steps off of podium...smiles |

And yes there will always be cheating but there is a daily routine of this happening hence all the complaining. And as I have pointed out alot of people dont know how to screen print so makes things very difficult. I have thought about that program where it blocks out certain words, they have it on zynga, rather funny watching the odd people who do talk and try to abuse each other lol.
But Lynny this is Gpokr like no other site and if we had all those changes we would be like all the others. With all the moaning and bitching most are still here or I see alot are returning. And there have been alot of real life friendships and even relatinships made on this site. I think we would all have to agree we love gpokr as it is but without the lag and the major problem of cheating. Which in my eyes are the two main problems. Although there is one other thing that cant be stopped but very annoying is the abuse to gpokr or Ryan when someone gets a bad beat, it isnt just gpokr, its poker. I have seen some of the biggest players in the world get bad beats and sometimes for nights cant hit a hand no matter how good their hand is, lol funny to watch somes reactions. But it happens in the real world not just on gpokr. Stand on that podium anytime Lynny :o)GPOKR RULES |

at 3:23 PM, Friday March 21, 2014 EDT I came here in 07 & there was transferring & I'm sure loaning going on every month but that was also a time when Gpokr had THE GREATEST PLAYERS.........period! At the end of the month you knew there would be player's transferring chips from one acct to their main account & personally I never had a problem with it. When the format was changed & you could only have 20K instead of 40K at the 100-200 tables & you could only have have 100K instead of 300K at the 500-1000 tables the site took a dive & then all the rules to prevent transferring, loaning & all the other BS that people complain about on here the site took another huge hit. I think all the Mods have to much on their plate & I agree that Ryan should find another way but as long as yall do his work the song will remain the same as you know Lynn. If I were you I would step down & just enjoy playing with the people you know. You remember we use to have a News Feed instead of this carnival we have now. Bring back the News Feed & all the really good players we use to have. Shark, Chuna, Wallack, Dipan, to name a few. Have a good evening Lynn.

I was trying to get people to see that this type of thing gets nowhere so instead have fun let things slide off as most of us are adults. Some get so wound up that it feeds others in the drama. Life is just too short.

The site was full of people on all levels & to make the top 25 you better have 2 mil or more. On the last night the big tables were full with others watching & waiting for a seat. I'm sorry but now it's just dead compared to then. The site's just no fun to me anymore so I do what anyone should do when they're not having fun...........don't play. The 1st player's that made an impression on me were T & Fuzzy. T's still hanging in there but Fuzzy's long gone. Just a shame you can't have a good game & keep good players to. Daddy keep filling all those voids & watch out for the pot holes to my friend. You're a good player & I hope you don't burn out anytime soon.

at 9:25 PM, Saturday March 22, 2014 EDT yes cotton it was exciting to see good play. There are still a lot of good players here though so dont lose heart. Fuzzy was here a couple of months ago. Yes I remember having to have 700k just to medal. Now it is 260+ at an average.

e on here play hands on perception,on what they think is going to come,not on what they have in their hand.You cant bluff ,you cant push anyome off a hand and you cant play poker.I miss Anna,sye,lynn Mm,and all the others that used to sit and just laugh for hours.Oh and bart too lol |
