So one reason I could think of why I don't see the issue is that I'm testing pretty exclusively with chrome on mac. I'm curious if you notice lag which browser and OS are you using?

I use 2 laptops:

Ubuntu (lubuntu distro) + Chromium - v. rare to lag (ancient compaq presario)

Windows 8.1 + Chrome - often lags (hi-spec machine)

changes to AJAX?

Huge lag at the table just now. Exactly 12 noon. The hand finished but no one was able to see it through, we saw the results when the lag ended and righted itself. The next hand was already in play. It sat 3 players out. The tournament started at 12 noon so I guess that was a factor in the lag, not sure.

As you read from others, there is no one specific issue for the lag. I lag quite often but I'm better off to just wait it out & lose the hand, cause if I refresh I get booted from the table. all I do know is that it's a fixable issue & thank you for finally showing some concern for the problem.

No doubt lag effects the leaderboard which is sad.Since it seems unfixable and we must live with it,is it possible to refresh without being kicked off the table ?

I was playing for a while and did experience lag twice. I didn't see anything suspicious in my network events or in the server logs. I did however see that my ssh session also hung which points to an issue outside of the gpokr system and architecture. I'll try to reverify this. But if it is outside then the best solution is to move to a different provider.
