I usually make the right decision and on gpokr and almost always get screwed. I play a lot of poker so I'm used to getting rivered. I can deal with it, but it when happens almost EVERY TIME something is wrong.
Let's consider this case, which is the one of the standard gpokr situations 1) Villain opens strong preflop with Ax or low pair 2) I flat call with mid unsuited connectors because I have no respect for people's opening range here 3) Villains tries to c-bet bluff with A high. I have pair and jam confident I'm ahead (75% of the time on gpokr any pair is winning after the flop) 4) Being highly unskilled, villain calls with A high thinking he's good 5) Villain hits a 3 outer with 18% chance THIS HAPPENS EVERY GOD DAMNED TIME ON THIS SITE! http://gpokr.com/games/72904293 |

at 5:32 PM, Sunday January 3, 2016 EST After playing on this site for almost 9 years...I have seen a lot of bad river beats, maybe I am just use to them. I find a lot of the beats are from unskilled players (ex. the 27 vs AA). I blame myself a lot of times for maybe not playing the hand correctly also. The river has always seemed to be a nuisance. Over time, I think most players know they have a winning chance by chasing to the river. Not much anyone can do about poor play.

at 5:30 PM, Monday January 4, 2016 EST I truly believe the only way to win on gpokr is to make the stupidest possible plays. The system is rigged to reward idiocy.

at 7:49 PM, Monday January 4, 2016 EST 1) Idiot bets the whole way with gutshot draw
2) Like a poker genius I hero call with ace high every street 3) Of course, then the river http://gpokr.com/games/72968813 Again, when this happens something close to 16% of the time as the odds suggest, that's fine because that's poker. When you get people hit 2-4 outers EVERY GOD DAMN HAND something is wrong FIX THIS |

Again another hand that makes no sense at all Hands like this are the reason I don't even try to play poker here anymore. I just jam with any two and hope to get lucky. Heads up AA has much of a chance as 27 preflop Flop a set or a straight, you're drawing dead. |
