Consider this, for example, one of the players who contacted me about the Freakee avatar is a regular player, whose 5 or 6 yr old grand daughter happened to be visiting. He had her on his lap, just showing her the game, with the colors and numbers, etc, and guy with the swinging male part was playing. Now of course it's funny, and cute, but remembering that this is an all ages, family friendly site makes it funny and cute for a different venue. There's no animosity here, or singling someone out, it was just being noticed more now, and was time to handle it.

at 9:32 PM, Saturday March 19, 2016 EDT Thanks KKM but just to mention that I too have grandkids whom I love more than life itself but also wonder when sheltered becomes unhealthy.Personally I would have no problem having a giggle with them over that av and don't think they would be scarred for life. I do worry about them being exposed to a daily diet of violence and soft porn that we call "The News". Maybe I have it wrong but our future will tell I guess.

The rules on this site are simple. 1. Do not use pornography avatars 2. Do not harrass people 3. Do not use hate language or avatars Last I checked a poorly drawn penis running through the woods was not pornography. Calling someone a chump or an asshole for play K/2 off on a preflop raise is not harassment. It should be done more frequently and maybe people would play here more. Coddling the easily offended is the real problem on this site. Not a pink cartoon penis. |
