Ok, this older player is here just to check on friends that I made here during the time and to see how others are because they are close with me. If it wasn't for this site, I wouldn't have found my WIFE!! I love her more then anything and I can humbly thank Ryan for that. I still do enjoy convo regardless. We should look at this as a game and nothing else. I do agree, we do need imo to stop with the "boost" option. I do agree on a business point it is a $$ maker but on the flip side it does cause concern for heavy cheating. A "boost" I thought was a one time purchase for the month. Again, my opinion.. anyways, my point is this: I come here to reflect in the morning to find comfort and to run into friends. My last thought is this: Northside, have a good thanksgiving and reflect some. Sorry, if this pisses you off even more but I am entitled to my opinion and you just seen/read this. I see your point and it doesn't piss me off...I too have found some friends,,,but lately more enemies as I
express my opinion on how Ryan has ruined this site..
I might be wrong,but someone please tell me why over 70% of the players have left....I just want it to stop..

Players have left because:

1. This site has been neglected for a long time.
2. Players cheat.
3. There are lots of other places to play poker.
4. The software is poor in lots of ways including lag.
5. Some players believe the hands are rigged.
6. It can be hostile environment (sometimes).
7. There are no signs of any improvements.
8. ...... and the list goes on......

Bear in mind that this is a free site! Ryan owes you nothing! If you want to come here and play it is your choice to do so and no will mind either way. Ryan has put this out there on the net so that you and me and anyone else who wants to can come here and play. You can view this as a gift from Ryan to the poker playing community rather than berating him for his lack of action. It's very clear that he lost interest in this project a long time ago along with many players.

Well said lenny and elf. Just enjoy what gpokr has left to offer thorn and remember why you do keep coming back or just leave. As mentioned it appears Ryan has lost interest or there is a major lack of minutes in his day, so all the hostility over it isnt worth it. It is sad to think maybe the site will not be around in a couple of years at all but if it happens it happens. We have to take the good with the bad, like that in the real world too. Remember thorn, Ryan gave you a very special gift that you will never forget.
