I think ryan should bring back that stat thing back again where it shows how many straights, flushes, FH's etc. and it also showed the top three hands you made money off. Why had it been rid of in the first place?

Ok, this is what I don't understand, why all the personal attacks, but no facts....the FACTS are that 2 pair is NOT a GOOD hand. Sure, in certain situations it can win, but so can Queen high. And 1 guy has 3 accounts with what? I don't have time to investigate every idiot that talks trash.

Discussing relative hand strength while not including other relevant factors is utterly absurd.

You can only ever make a meaningful remark about hand strength when you factor in things like how many players are at the table, the profile you have assigned to the opponents you are playing against, your stack size relative to theirs, your table image etc etc.

Heads up and flop a 2 pair (low and middle pairs) with a rainbow flop and in certain circumstances you may very well be right to shove all in.

Flop a 2 pair (low and middle pairs) UTG on a table with 9 players where the flop has two suits the same and connectors for a straight and you might be way behind several other players by showdown.

Got to agree with Cotton, gpokr doesn't resemble a real cash game. But I think it's more to do with the type of players, the fact there is no money involved and the volume of hands played rather than lack of randomness. That is not to say that I'm convinced the randomness is sound. It may be and it may not be, only recognised certification will put that issue to bed.
