For those who think this site is rigged.Do you guys also go and paste your hands on the wall when you get beat in a real cash game?Do you cry all the way out the door that some1 called with a cheap hand and you got beat? We've all seen it before and continue to see it so why do you waste time and space to paste your embarassements on the forum? You would never call a real cash game rigged ,fixed or setup but you would say it about any online poker site. Why is that?

at 2:32 PM, Sunday March 29, 2009 EDT I must have played tens of thousands of hands here. What I see is loads of crap hands calling at any price and calling all the way to the river. In a cash game it's usual that 2 or 3 players are involved in a hand, here the whole table of 9 will pay 10 x BB with any two cards. Doesn't surprise me that weird hands get made.
People make these claims that the site is rigged, but never provide data. I don't believe it's rigged, but would be glad to be proven wrong by anyone who will go to the trouble of gathering a statistically useful sample, say 20,000+ flops. BTW, 2 suited flops come about 60% of the time and xxy flops come 16.94% of the time. If you discover significant variance from this then you might have a case. So quit the outrageous claims, gather your data, then argue your case with hard fact. Otherwise just alter your game to account for multiple callers every hand. Having a whinge because your straight got busted by a full house doesn't count : ) |

at 3:02 PM, Sunday March 29, 2009 EDT Check this out:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LW7ojjIlvno Hole cards: AA, KK, QQ, 77, 55, JT. In gpokr it would be usual for all players to get all in. Here we see a top pro lay down KK so only AA and QQ go to showdown. In gpokr, the guy who shoved all in with 65 offsuit would have won this hand !!! |

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6YNc9oB2kp4 See where this is going yet? Peculiar hands happen all the time. There is a lot of variance in poker. Multi callers increase variance exponentially !! |

at 9:06 PM, Tuesday March 31, 2009 EDT First of all who gives a crap if its rigged or not, this is play money we are talking about here. Good for nothing play money. The good point for this site is that people can socialize and play fake poker any way they want.
I believe a while ago, ultimate bet, a cash poker room, got scammed for a couple of million dollars. Some guys made a programme to see or change the flop cards. Think of all the people who would of thought that hand was rigged and got called fish or noob just becasue they thought they were scammed. And it turns out they were, by other players. Once when i was playing in a 5k tournament at Ultimate bet, one of there stars was playing there. Ho i think. I got K-A suited, and myself and 4 other players went all in. I had the best hand cuz my King and Ace hit. So i was sorted at the flop. Ho, on the other hand called with 9-Q off suit.Who the hell calls an all in with that? Flop: 8-K-A - J - 10 Needless to say he hit the Str8, which is very very lucky. As i said before who gives a crap if Gpokr is rigged ur not losing nothing. |
