Im not sure for all of you who live outside the USa, but in America and for business's who operate within the parameters of the USA....The first amendment entitles everyone to free speech! With that being clearly stated within our constitution, No one has the right to take away anyone in the USA's freedom of speech,(which includes offering the ability to speak freely and then appointing mods the ability of plenary power to mute them) So by muting people you are violating their rights and subjecting yourself to civil action in a court of law up to but limited to class action law suits. Now you are gonna say that would never hold up or be affirmed by a judge, and I agree. However it would assure you as individuals having to retain counsel and come out of pocket for a federal case. Your welcome. Please feel free to comment with unfounded opinions and such Yours truly, Kenny Fucking Powers

at 5:51 AM, Sunday August 18, 2013 EDT If you have the time, read this article. It is written in a very understandable way.
http://www.stevepavlina.com/blog/2009/09/free-speech-in-online-communities-the-delusion-of-entitlement/ In addition, this one might shed some light. http://cnreviews.com/life/society-culture/internet-freedom-of-speech-not-guaranteed_20090426.html And yes, I realize these are not part of the actual Government publications, but I trust that you are intelligent enough to see that they are factual. I copied and pasted the addresses, so it's possible that they will not post correctly. If this happens, I will type them out myself. Hugs! |

at 3:01 PM, Saturday August 24, 2013 EDT This is the internet not the United States. The constitution doesn't apply here. Sorry you're bent but if you follow the rules of the site you won't be muted. We do try to warn before taking action, and when we do, it is for good reason. Anarchy doesn't work...that's why there are a total of six rules on this site.

at 3:15 PM, Saturday August 24, 2013 EDT Does apply when you are operating within my jurisdiction, which I have put you on notice by posting my flag. Just saying people old enough to understand how to play are adults and muting language is somewhat juvenile. Kinda like having a bar with no cussing and no beer.
